Woodpine Valley // Week 2 Darcy

I eagerly went off to work in the morning, hopeful that I would get another promotion. If I did, I would be able to officially implement Cheyenne’s ideas and get electricity and running water for the town.




Luckily I was able to get that promotion. Thanks to Cheyenne’s hard work, we now have running water and electricity!






I spent the afternoon studying and then met one of the new townies who was visiting Woodpine Valley. It’s nice to see a new face.

I accidentally added townies before she’d gotten the required promotion, but it was only one day early.

I downloaded a lot of sims from some of my favorite simblrs, gave them new names and slight makeovers, and made them townies. I made a list of who’s who, so feel free to ask if you want to know who a specific townie is. :)




In addition to Dylan, I also met Blake Kinnear, another townie from SimCity. I’ve gotta admit to feeling quite a bit of attraction towards him. His admiration of my hard work helped.

They have two bolts! I really like Blake, so we’ll see if anything happens. :)







Blake and Dylan headed home and I enjoyed a shower and a grilled cheese dinner for the first time in a while.




I was able to get another promotion the next day. I feel like the job is getting better as I climb the ranks. Maybe it’s just because I’m excited to really help the valley grow and I know this is the best way to do it.

This is where I SHOULD have added townies. But since I only jumped the gun by one day, it’s okay.






I made myself some more grilled cheese sandwiches and then headed to bed early that night.

Since I had the next day off, I played with Sherbet for a while and then invited Blake over for a quick visit. He had to leave to go to work though, so he wasn’t able to stay as long as I would have liked. I’m hoping to get to know him better.









I tried to invite Blake over again but he wasn’t able to come over until late at night. I guess he had to stay really late at work.




I know I probably should have gotten to know Blake better before we jumped onto the couch, but I just felt so drawn to him!




Carissa: I really like you. Will you come over again tomorrow after work?

Blake: *blush*

I think it’s adorable that Blake is shy. <3 Also, writing kind of flirty conversation for myself is challenging because I would be Blake in this case, not my simself. XD




Blake had to head home because it was so late, so I ate a grilled cheese by myself, hoping that Blake would be able to come over again soon.







As soon as I knew that Blake would be done with work, I invited him over for a quick date.






I realized that I really liked Blake, so I asked him to just move in with me. He agreed and was able to move in right away since he didn’t have any belongings to pack up back in SimCity.






Blake immediately gave Sherbet some attention while I cooked dinner.

We climbed into bed after cleaning up from dinner. I was looking forward to sleeping in the next day on my day off.






Blake didn’t sleep in very much. Instead, he woke up with the sun and cleaned the counters and ate some cereal by himself.




Carissa: Babe, why did you make such a nice dinner tonight? I would have been okay with leftover mac and cheese.

Blake: I know how much you love mac and cheese, but I just wanted something a bit nicer tonight. I have something to ask you…




Blake pulled a big box out of his pocket and slowly set it on the table and pushed it towards me. I gasped.




Carissa: How did you get this? I thought we couldn’t import things from SimCity!

Blake: Is that really the important question here?

Carissa: Sorry, sorry.

Blake: I know that we haven’t known each other for very long, but I felt a real connection with you right away and it would make me the happiest man in the world if you agreed to be my wife.




Carissa: Yes, yes. A thousand times yes!

I quickly slid the ring onto my finger and tossed the box over my shoulder. Blake reached across the table and I slid my fingers between his, admiring the sparkle of the ring as I did.











That night, we were the second family in Woodpine Valley to be burgled. I can’t wait until Nichola is able to become Captain Hero and allow us to have a police station here in Woodpine Valley. It takes the police so long to drive out here that there isn’t even any point in us calling them when someone breaks in.




The next day, Blake and I invited over our friends for a quick wedding party.








We quickly exchanged rings and officially became man and wife. Keika, Cheyenne, and Kitty were excited to have been included in the wedding. Nichola missed the whole thing because she was jumping rope inside the house.




To my surprise, I saw Cheyenne and Kitty share a kiss in the kitchen while Blake got to know Nichola.

As much as I might be tempted to let Cheyenne and Kitty marry (they have 2 bolts), Cheyenne is doing the Black Widow challenge, so all her spouses will have to die and I don’t want to purposefully kill one of my founders. I might let them have a love affair or something, but no marriage.




I woke up early on Monday morning to find myself pregnant already.
