Malby Name Game 2.5

Poor Urie tries to fix the computer and gets quite the shock.

Since the computer is still broken and can't be used, she looks for a job in the newspaper. I honestly don't remember what she gets a job in since I just made her take the first open position. She just needs to top her career, so it doesn't actually matter what it is.

The family spends almost all of their free time skilling in some way.

Before too long, it's time for Olive to become a child!

Yay! Plus one point for Hank.

Gina and Olive play chess together quite a bit now that Olive is old enough.

Hugo is soooooo close to topping his career. If he doesn't get his promotion today, he'll have to wait a few days until he works again, which is kind of a pain.

Danielle is also fairly close to topping her career. She just needs some Creativity and Logic points and then she'll be good to go.

Hallelujah! Hugo completed his LTW finally. That took so much longer than usual, I think because I purposefully didn't push through the promotions like I normally do.

Danielle also gets a promotion and only has one to go.

For once, Hugo isn't spending the night skilling and is able to actually help one of the kids with their homework.

Urie wants to keep gaining logic skill but since Gina and Olive take the chess table most nights, she uses the telescope. If she ends up getting abducted, it'll just be a bonus. ;)

Danielle also needs some more Cooking points for her next promotion, so she reads a skill book.

Aw, man! Urie got fired from her job. :(

And Hank got demoted. The Malby teens are not having a good day.

At least Gina and Danielle are having slightly more luck in their endeavors.

Danielle is not excited to move onto working on her logic skill. Sorry, but you need that last promotion, so you need more skills!

Urie gets a new job, this time in Business, and heads off to work after school.

And she comes home with a promotion! Hopefully she'll have better luck in her new job.

Time for Gina to become a teenager!

She's so cuuuuuuute. Also, she rolled Knowledge with Fortune as her secondary. Her LTW is to Become Media Magnate, and she likes Swimwear and Black Hair, but not Red Hair. I can't remember now what her sexual orientation is, but I think I remember her rolling bi? She's not heir, so she won't end up getting married, so it doesn't really matter. XD

Gina gets a quick makeover and then gets a job right away.

Time for a headmaster visit!
Headmaster: What's wrong with your arm?
Hugo: Just chess arm. No big deal. We play chess a lot, so it's a common occurrence here.
Headmaster: Good to know.

Danielle and Urie were at work during the headmaster's visit, so they sadly missed out on the headmaster's visit.

All four kids got into private school. :) Thanks to the nice dinner and Olive telling the headmaster a few jokes, it was super easy. He even cut the tour short because he only had to see one room to get pushed over the limit of points.

The girls spend most of the night painting because they keep starting random paintings, so there aren't any easels open for those who need Creativity points.

All three of the teenagers come home with promotions. Luckily Urie and Hank are able to top their careers as well.

And I'm really glad that Hank got promoted again, because it's his birthday!

The constant aspiration failure is so annoying. I don't even have a college attached to Strangetown, so I don't know why they keep doing this. I never have this problem in other neighborhoods without a college.

Danielle comes home (sans promotion) and ages up into an elder.

The update(and this generation) ends with Hank looking for a job in his dream career, but no luck yet. Next time you see the Malby family, it'll be generation three!
