Woodpine Valley // Week 1 Norris

As Cheyenne started planting some tomatoes, she couldn’t help but admire her house. Carissa had done a really good job of building houses for everyone. She’d done it quickly too. She hadn’t gotten here that far ahead of the others, so it was surprising that she was able to get everything set up so quickly. That’s probably why she was picked to head the expedition though.
The first thing Cheyenne did was start reading an electricity manual. She had promised Carissa she would figure out how to get electricity and running water out here, and she was desperate for it herself. It would make it a lot easier to get to know everyone else in the valley if they could call each other on phones instead of having to wait for someone to come out to their yard and walk across the street.
When I randomized her skills, Cheyenne got maxed Mechanical. Since her OTH is Tinkering, I was going to make her max it anyway, so it’s nice that I don’t have to worry about it. And since she and Carissa are best friends, we’ll have running water and electricity next week!
Keika walked by so Cheyenne greeted her, but she didn’t stay for long. Cheyenne ended up going inside to make a quick bowl of cereal.
Cheyenne greeted the mail lady when she dropped off the mail. It never hurts to get to know the person delivering your mail, and Cheyenne couldn’t deny that she found Alysanne kind of cute. Maybe there was a potential romance there, maybe not.
Cheyenne’s first day was a busy one. The only person who didn’t walk by was Kitty. Cheyenne also took the opportunity to update Carissa on her project.
Cheyenne: So I think I can have running water by the end of the week. I need to try a few things and see what I can do.
Carissa: Just let me know. When I go to work on Monday, I’ll tell my bosses if you figure it out.
Cheyenne may have gone out to tend to her plants earlier than she needed to just so she would be outside when Alysanne dropped off the mail.
Cheyenne wasn’t quite sure what she saw in Alysanne. Maybe it was just that she was desperate for something new. All the men and women back in SimCity were the same. Being here in Woodpine Valley would hopefully lead to a refreshing chance of pace.
Cheyenne and Alysanne don’t seem to have any chemistry, but since Cheyenne is half Family sim, she wants to flirt with someone a lot. She also DOES need to get married pretty quickly since she’s attempting the Black Widow challenge and needs to marry and kill 10 sims before she dies. I just hope I get townies soon so she doesn’t have to kill the cute mail lady.
Cheyenne couldn’t resist saying hi to Alysanne every morning and flirting with her a bit. Alysanne didn’t seem willing to reciprocate, but she definitely wasn’t turning Cheyenne down.
Cheyenne: Did you hear that Nichola got robbed?
Keika: What? No!
Cheyenne: I know, it’s crazy. But she called SimCity and told them and they’re letting her commute out there every day and do their police program so that she can open up a police station out here and keep us safe.
Cheyenne finally decided to buckle down and try and figure out how to get running water to the town.
Cheyenne: Maybe if I put it here? No, no. That’ll never work…maybe here…
Cheyenne was excited to harvest her first tomatoes, especially now that she was close to figuring out electricity. The first thing she was going to cook on her new stove would be spaghetti, using her fresh tomatoes in the sauce.
When Carissa walked by again, Cheyenne ran out to her.
Cheyenne: Hey, so you should call your contacts in SimCity. I figured out how to get running water out here.
Carissa: Really? How??
Cheyenne: Come here and I’ll tell you. But it’s a secret, so you can’t tell anyone else. *whisper whisper whisper*
Carissa: That actually might work! I’ll talk to the people at work and let them know.
Cheyenne woke up early to take a bath, eager to potentially have running water and a working phone soon. As long as Carissa was able to uphold her end of the bargain, hopefully some workers from SimCity would be coming out soon to put Cheyenne’s plan into motion.
Keika: What? No!
