I can’t believe it’s already fall! It’s my favorite season but it was never long enough back in SimCity. I’m hoping that it’ll last longer here in Woodpine Valley, but we’ll just have to see.

Even though I’m dead tired from my pregnancy, I’m still able to get another promotion and unlock Politics for everyone else in town. I’m not sure how many people will want to join me in the hour long carpool to SimCity, but at least it’s an option for everyone.

I was able to find some special cat food in SimCity that claims to lengthen your pets’ lives. I can’t stand the thought of Sherbet getting old just yet, so I bought some to try it out.

I might just constantly make Sherbet eat the food from the aspiration benefit bowl because I don’t want him to die.

Poor Blake gets a little bit bored around the house since he has no job right now, so he spends a lot of his free time teaching Sherbet commands. We’re both hoping he can get a job soon to get him out of the house. Both Blake and Sherbet, I mean.

I feel a bit bad that I’m the founder of a town and I went to work in my pajamas, but in my defense, I am HEAVILY pregnant and none of my other clothes fit. Luckily there are a few other pregnant women in the office and they all thought wearing pajamas was a good idea, so we’re doing it again.

I’m just glad that Blake is okay with staying home and cleaning up the house. Most guys would be pushing to get a job or would refuse to clean the house, but Blake understands that sometimes you just have to do things you don’t want to do, such as cleaning out the dirty litter box.

Blake: How are you feeling?

Carissa: Like a bloated whale. I just wish that the baby would come already.

Blake: Well…I’ve heard of some ways to induce labor. Want to try some of them out?

Blake’s idea seemed to work, because I didn’t get to sleep for very long before my labor started.

Luckily labor wasn’t as long or as bad as I expected it to be, and I safely gave birth to a son. Blake and I had decided on a couple names since we didn’t know if we would have a boy or a girl, but as soon as I saw him, I knew he was an Aragorn.

All the kids will be named after characters from my favorite books and movies, because I’m a nerd like that. Aragorn is from J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings series and is one of my favorite characters.

Aragorn wasted no time in going to the peg box, and he seemed to really enjoy it. It’s every mom’s dream to have a smart, successful child, but maybe it’ll actually happen with Aragorn!

Aragorn is a Virgo (10/2/3/3/8)

After the birth of Aragorn, Blake was wide awake so he went out to tend to the garden. I was starving, so I made a grilled cheese sandwich, but I was so tired from the birth that I ended up falling asleep at the table. I don’t know how long I was out, but I eventually woke up, wiped the crumbs from my face, and went back up to bed.

And I realized after the first harvest for everyone that I had downloaded a perfect plants and garden mod, so I took out the perfect garden mod part of it. Now the gardens will need to be watered, weeded, and sprayed.

Blake was back out in the garden the next morning. Luckily having the garden gives him something to do during the day. Besides taking care of Sherbet and Aragorn, of course.

I think Blake is really enjoying being a stay at home dad.

I don’t think Sherbet is enjoying having a toddler in the house as much as Blake and I are. I keep trying to remind Aragorn to use soft hands, but he just gets so excited when Sherbet is within arm’s reach that he just squeezes as hard as he can.

I don’t like having to go to work and not spend time with my son, but I’m hopeful that once I make it to Mayor, I can spend a lot more time at home.

Even though he might be more of a handful once he can walk around, it’s a good idea for Aragorn to learn to walk quickly, so Blake wastes no time in getting started on that.

Within a few hours, Aragorn has been taught to walk.

Blake had a late night taking care of the garden, so I help bring Aragorn to the potty the next morning before work. He may have learned to walk quickly, but Aragorn sure is taking his sweet time learning to use the potty instead of his diaper.

Blake: What would you think about maybe giving Aragorn a sibling? I know that he’s still young, but I don’t want our kids to be super far apart in age. And I do want another one…

Carissa: Me too. Come here.

It didn’t take long at all for me to start feeling nauseous.

Since Aragorn had quickly learned to walk, Blake and I were hopeful that he would find talking just as easy.

I noticed an odd lamp on the front porch when I headed off to work. I’m still not sure where it came from or what it is, so I’m not going to touch it just yet. I’ll need to ask around and see if anyone else in Woodpine Valley knows what it means.

Blake has spent so much time out in the garden that he managed to gain a bronze badge. Hopefully we can plant some new types of fruits and veggies after winter and mix it up a bit. It’ll be nice to have something other than fresh tomatoes.

I probably shouldn’t have been surprised that I was pregnant again. The fact that I had thrown up several times was enough of a hint, and combined with the fact that I was suddenly tired all the time, I should have known.

While Aragorn took a nap, Blake taught Sherbet another command.

I can’t believe that my baby is already a child.

So Aragorn is really freakin’ cute and I love him. I was only going to have Carissa and Blake have two kids, but if the others end up as cute as Aragorn, I might end up making them have a lot of kids. I don’t want kids, so why not torture my simself and make her bear tons of kids? XD

Now that Aragorn is bigger, he loves helping Blake out in the garden. I have high hopes that he’ll turn out to be very helpful for our town.

I think Sherbet enjoys the fact that Aragorn is bigger now. He’s no longer squeezing his arms around Sherbet’s neck!

Aragorn really does love Sherbet. I really need to talk to Kitty about getting a kitten the next time she breeds Lemon and Pepper. I think Aragorn would love that.

Aragorn ended up growing up in time for the weekend, so he doesn’t start school for a few days. He spends most of his time giving Sherbet attention, and he starts to teach him a few commands, too.

Now that Aragorn is a child and will be starting school, it would be nice to have someone here in town who goes out to SimCity to train to become a teacher so we can eventually open our own school here. Since Blake loves kids and is getting a bit stircrazy in the house, he decides to sign up to become the new teacher.

The tomatoes are finally ready for harvest! They don’t look quite as good as the first batch that I grew, but they’ll still taste good.

Blake quickly puts the fresh tomatoes away and then comes up to bed.

I wake up a few hours later because I’m in labor again!

This time it’s a girl. I’m really glad that Aragorn gets a little sister, although I think he was secretly hoping for a brother. Hopefully Aelin will be enough for him.

Aelin is from Sarah J Maas’s Throne of Glass series, which I’m still in the middle of reading. She is one bad-ass queen/assassin and I love her so much. Aelin is also just a super pretty name, so I couldn’t resist.

I put Aelin into her crib and then climb back into bed to try and get some more sleep before my carpool arrives.

Oh my God she’s so cuuuuuute. I might have one more kid this generation, but we’ll see. I don’t want to have a major population explosion because then it means a lot of households for me to play, but Blake and my simself make such cute babiesssssss.

Anyway, Aelin is an Aquarius (6/5/6/9/8).
